After winning the Mid-Argyll Bowls League Cup in 2018-2019 season we were all poised for a good 2019-2020 season. Practice nights went well and we had gained several new members, adding to our hopes of retaining the cup for Furnace.
The season turned out to be both close and well fought. It was eventually decided on our last home match against Inveraray, which we won to retain the cup for a second year.
Inveraray hosted an excellent Skips cup, where the cup was placed in our hands for a second year too.
We looked forward to seeing existing and new members in 2021, when halls around the county re-open and hopefully Covid-19 has run it’s course.
